eSIM Installation & Setup Guide

Scanning the QRcode to set up - IOS
If your iPhone is runningiOS 17.5 or later:
Click the One-Tap Installation link in the table within your
iVideo eSIM Information and Quick Start Guide email for quick setup.

If your iPhone is running iOS 17.4 or earlier:
Follow the steps below.
【Pre-departure installation steps】
In iOS 17, you can open a saved QR code from Library to proceed with the installation
1. Go to Settings > Cellular
2. Tap on "Add eSIM"
3. Tap on "Use QR Code"
4. Scan QR code or choose the QR code image from Library
If scanning is not possible, you can select "Enter Details Manually"
5. Activate eSIM
(After successfully scanning the QR code and entering the installation process, if the activation screen does not update, please return to the phone's home screen and reopen the settings to check the installed eSIM plan)
6. After completing the setup, you can label the eSIM for easy identification
7. Set up your primary mobile network and call settings before traveling abroad
(Select "Primary" to receive SMS and calls from your original number)

【Activation steps upon arrival at the destination】
1. Go to Settings > Cellular
2. Tap "Cellular Data"
3. Select the eSIM plan you want to use
(Turn off "Allow Mobile Data Switching")
4. Go back to Cellular and turn on "Data Roaming"

【How to Disable eSIM】
1. Go to Settings > Cellular
2. Tap the eSIM plan you want to disable
3. Tap on 'Delete eSIM"
4. Tap on "Update Contacts" to complete the process

Scanning the QRcode to set up - ANDROID

If you are using ANDROID (The following pictures are from a Pixel 8 phone), do the following.
※ Other ANDROID phones' eSIM settings, please refer to Samsung or the instruction manual from your mobile phone manufacturer.

【Pre-departure installation steps】
1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet
2. Tap on "SIMs"
3. Tap on “+” button next to SIM button
4. Tap on "Download a new eSIM"
5. Scan the QR code or photo to add the eSIM plan.
Need help? >> Tap on "Try these troubleshooting steps"
Tap on "Enter it manually"
6. Set up the eSIM
7. Activate the eSIM

【Activation steps upon arrival at the destination】
1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet
2. Tap on "SIMs"
3. Tap on the newly installed eSIM
4. Turn ON the eSIM
5. Enable Mobile data and Roaming
6. It is recommended to turn off Automatic network selection to avoid network instability

【How to Disable eSIM】
1. Go to Settings > Network & Internet
2. Tap on "SIMs"
3. Tap on the newly installed eSIM
4. Select "Erase eSIM" and confirm to delete the eSIM
